We are excited that you were chosen to represent your school in the 7th annual Atlanta Public Schools District-Wide Technology & Innovation Competition!
The Technology & Innovation Competition will be held at Sylvan Hills Middle School on Saturday, January 12, 2019. You will be competing with approximately 500 other 3-12 grade students from across the district!
To facilitate a smooth judging process, we have specific check-in times by grade band. Projects will be judged beginning with high school first.

Please note:
(1) If a student has a project partner from an upper grade, the check-in time for that student is the time of the highest grade-level of the project partners and
(2) Students who have a partner must check in together.

Check-In Location: Upon arrival please report to Check In, which is located in the atrium.
After Check In: Students in grades 9-12 will be directed to the report to their room in the Competition Zone. Students in grades 3-8 will report to the Innovation Station, located in the gym. The Innovation Station is a fun and engaging area for you and your family We have worked to ensure that the activities will be both fun and interactive this year! It truly is a MUST DO component of the APS District Technology & Innovation Competition! Make sure you visit after you finish competing, if you are unable to do so before.

When will my student know to report to the Competition Zone to be judged?
When it's time for your child's grade band to be judged, they will be directed to report to their category section in the bleachers of the gym. Your child will be escorted to the Competition Zone when it is time for their projects to be judged. Once your child has finished being judge s/he will be escorted back to Innovation Station, where you can connect with them and enjoy the rest of your day!
How do I know when my child has finished being judged?
You can keep up with when they have finished being judged by going to this website: http://apstechfair.org/Fair/Monitor.php and checking to see if his/her Project ID number is GREEN. The Project ID numbers are located on each badge. You can also click on the QR code below to check:
When will winners be announced?
An email with all winners will be sent to the parent email address that we have on file as well as to the sponsors at your child's school.
